You get a cold. You don't go to the doctor because...it's just a cold. A week later, it's blown up into a full-scale double ear and sinus infection. Now you've got to drag your miserable body to the doctor's office for antibiotics and sit in a crammed waiting room while your head throbs and your nose oozes. The first round of antibiotics doesn't work, so you go back to get a new prescription and some ear drops because you can't hear out of your right ear. Meanwhile, you've missed a week of work. 

Thank God cleaning up an infected computer is so much easier.
