Neat fast week

This week went fast, it was filled with cold calls, tele calls, e-mails and more. Bottom line is I use as many sales tools as I can. I know that sitting still and waiting for orders or leads is not like me. I enjoy being active for myself and for my clients. I will finish this day doing a Craigs list post or two. I will also submit one of my accounts to the top search engines then well enough for a day. Sales is not an easy career or art, you must work at it constantly or you will find that your valuable pipeline will dry up. I added 12 good suspects this week and next week I will go for 20. The odds are good that if you are good, you will sell a few :) So if you need help in sales or finding any leads, give me a call or send me an e-mail at jrossini@rossini.com and I will help you anyway I can.

Until next time....

SEO is important

If you want to succeed with your website, you have to decide how much you will spend on search engine optimization. As SEO is crucial to survive the fierce online competition, the question is not if you should invest in SEO but how much you invest. SEO can be very expensive. How can you get more for your money? Pick an experienced SEO company and also one that has marketing and sales experience. SEO needs someone who understands the market and the ability of a person that knows what your potential customers want and need. What is a good fee? Our fees go from $100.00 and up and what you get depends on what your needs are.

From Axandra: Read on it might shock you:

How much do SEO companies charge?

If you decide to hire an SEO agency, there are several pricing models:
1. Hourly consulting: the average SEO agency (or individual) charges between $100 and $300 per hour (all amounts in US$).
2. Fixed prices: businesses that are new to SEO often buy services at fixed prices. This can be a website content audit (usually $500-$7,500), link profile audits ($500-$7,500) or SEO copywriting ($0.10-$0.50 per word).
3. Monthly retainer: the most popular pricing model is a monthly payment. On average, SEO agencies and individuals charge $750-5,000 per month. Depending on how much you pay, you can expect different services: regular analytics reports, on-site optimization, link building, keyword research, etc.

Some offshore companies offer 'SEO' services for much lower prices ($100-$500/month). In general, you can be sure that these services use spam techniques to 'promote' your website and that these services will backfire on you.

If an SEO service is too cheap, it's likely that they use risky methods. That's a lesson that many businesses had to learn in the past.

Should you hire an SEO agency or should use use a do-it-yourself tool?
This depends on your needs. If you have the money, hiring an SEO agency or an SEO professional can be a good solution. To get results, you should invest at least $2500 per month. If you pay less, you'll only get automated reports.
Search engine optimization takes time. SEO is a long-term investment. You will get the best results if you regularly work on your web pages.

As I have tried to tell our clients...SEO takes time and experience.

More to come...

When updating a web site what is important

As I am updating several websites including my own I must continue to remember that both simplicity and straight forward information is the best. Tell your potential customers what you do and why you do it in short and direct ways. Remember that attention spans are short and drift so try to keep them focused. Try to link to examples of what you sell or do and remember pictures tell stories fast and well.

The more the better.

Ok enough for now, talk more soon.

Been a while

Sorry it has been a while but been pretty busy here. Lots going on, we have been working on our new web site, up soon. We now have a person to assist in social media posts. We have written several new web pages that we are proud of take a look: http://www.cooladhandles.com/ or one that is getting so many sales a day he is so happy http://www.proseinc.com/index.html.

Most of our new web sites feature responsive design and also the ability for our customers to edit their website on their own. We also offer back up support and marketing for a fee that is very affordable. If you have a web site that is two years old or older it is time for an update. You might be surprised at just how affordable a retrofit is and how Google and others like the fact that is updated.

Have you ever thought of sending out e-mail blasts again? Once in favor then out of favor now back in again and this is a way to keep your potential customers in the loop. You can keep it simple text only or more elaborate either way I recommend you think of it again.

How about a blog? Well what can I say it does take time but people do eventually follow and you become the expert, you tell them what they should know or just your ideas on whatever topic. I recommend Blogger as a great blog posting program and it is free and guess what...owned by Google:) Catch my drift...Google.

I also recommend that you add a small news section on your website, why you ask? I say that you and only you can tell good things about your company so go do it when ever you can because no one else will.

Until next time!!!!
