Joe Rossini's day
A very nice day, my goal today was to use e-mails, the web and the good old fashioned telephone to find leads. I posted to Facebook and LinkedIN (usually gets me a nice lead or two). My telephone calls provided me with 5 suspects to send information to. As I have always said it takes a village oh no that was another author heheh. OK it takes a little bit of everything and you can get leads.

SEO is easy isnt it??????????
I have heard this so many times and that is people saying SEO that is easy isn't it? Anyone can do it right? My brothers, sister's mother does that part time and only on Monday:) Well this week I have been working on two large customers and updating their keywords, and descriptions and let me say one thing.... about 12 hours of work! Doing it right is not as easy as it looks. Do not believe those that say keywords are dead because they are not for Yahoo and Bing and Ask. Bottom line is it takes time to do it right and then you may have to go back and make changes. Use a professional and get it done right.

Simple content management software makes changes easy!
We have now installed several copies of our easy content management software and it has been a tremendous success. Our customers have taken to it and are making changes on their own without our help. With this capability our customers can make changes on the fly when needed.
The benefits are obvious, you make your changes when you need then not when time permits. I believe that all of our websites form now on will carry this feature and it makes for a happier customer also.

Surprised at the lack of bloggers and Linked IN users
I went to a networking meeting today and I was frankly surprised at the responses I got when I asked people if they blogged or if they used social media. The answers pretty much were similar, I have a LinkedIn account but don't use it or know how. I am on Facebook but it is not getting me any leads and seems to be losing steam. I don't even want to try a blog I do not have the time.
Bottom line is, I agree about Facebook, I like it and use it but it does seem to be tarnished of late. I use LinkedIn heavily and really believe it works and can get you business. I blog often but not everyday but it is a good blow off steam thing to do :) I like blogging and I hope someone is reading and I say to people that if they have two hours to go to a networking meeting and spend hundreds of dollars to be a participant then you can do just a bit more and do social media and blogging and see your business grow.
By the way, the network meeting was good and fun and I recommend them also to get your name out and just to get out of the office occasionally. So if you want to learn more about social media and how to use it let me know or touch base and I will help you.
