A neat tip from Manta:
As the battle between Google and the spammers rages on, the range of
acceptable, white hat link building activities is getting smaller and
smaller. It's not that link building is dead or pointless, but rather
that many of the old ways no longer work. That's one of the things I
love most about SEO; it's constantly evolving and pushing website owners
and marketers to really focus on the quality of their SEO campaign, not
just the quantity of links. The time of "easy win" links is rapidly
ending.
SEO is sure changing fast!

Another Adwords tip
From Google:
Match your ad to your landing page
Take a look at the page on your website that you're linking to from your ad, which is called the landing page. Make sure the promotions or products in your ad are included in that page. Tell people what they can expect when they click the ad. If visitors don't find what they expect to see when they reach your site, they might leave.
