More good business ideas for the web

A nice few pearls of wisdom by Jim Edwards (I agree with all of these)

Pillar 4: Make Value-Added Offers

Most people don't make offers on their websites. Their web pages look like everyone else's and say basically the same things. You must make offers on your site that spur people to action. Offer a discount or faster service. Give an incentive to come in today. Most important: Make your offers big, bold and obvious on your site while giving people a reason to do business with you right now!

Pillar 5: Drive Traffic

You won't make a dime with your website if the right people don't see it. The fastest way to drive traffic is to buy it, specifically with the Google AdWords pay-per-click program. Pay-per-click means you only pay when someone clicks your "sponsored" ad on the search engine listings, and Google's AdWords is the largest pay-per-click advertising network. However, make sure you set up a "geo-targeted" campaign when starting out so only people in your local area see your ads (instead of wasting time and money showing your ads to people who could never patronize your local business).

Pillar #6: Local List Building

Building up a local following that you communicate with using online tools rates as one of the smartest and most cost-effective things every local business can do. Whether through email, text, Twitter or Facebook (or some new tool), communicating with a targeted group and providing value-added information and offers can bring huge rewards. One coupon with the right offer to the right audience can turn a ho-hum Thursday into a blockbuster sales day.

Pillar #7: Consistent Follow-Up

The biggest online marketing mistake I see people make is NOT following up with prospects and customers. Use email and other communication tools to keep in contact with your prospects and customers and give them reasons to do business with you (by making offers) while providing useful information they want. As a wise man once said, "The fortune is always made in the repeat business."

Business consulting

Had a great meeting Friday with a potential client. The key I feel is to ask questions then try to shut up and listen. What Brenda and I found is that this person has many of the same problems that many small business have. one is to try to focus, two is to find new clients, three, to learn that your own ideas about yur business are sometimes the best and so you should act on them.

At Rossini.com we are more than just a web company but we are a solutions provider an din many ways a consultant to our customers. Give us a try and see what we can do for you.

An article about search engine marketing

In the internet savvy world as we have it today, the demand for the search engine marketing for all the websites have become very essential. These are the tools which make the websites rank higher in the search engine result pages. Therefore, there are many SEO Companies who help these websites acquire the much needed web presence. But to have a web presence in the tech-savvy world is not enough. The real challenge is to be the top notch website in the search engine result pages.

To acquire the required position online, the websites try to popularize their sites in maximum possible way so as to gain the required position. These are the ways to reach out to maximum number of people at a time. But a lot of work has to be done over here as the websites have to attract their online customers who are in fact very precious to them. That is what the SEO Companies are there for. They help the websites in all possible ways to get to the top position in the Search Engine Result pages with its various tools, the Search Engine Marketing being one of them.

Through the Search Engine Marketing tool, when these websites appear in some of the Search Engine Pages, their popularity is supposed to be enhanced with more and people visiting their web pages or clicking on the same. Actually how the entire process works is that, when someone has search for some specific thing, he enters some keywords related to his search in some of the Search Engines. Then automatically, many pages related to the search will be displayed. The webpage containing the most appropriate and relevant answer to the query of the visitor is always placed on the top of the search engine result pages. As more and more visitors click on the page, it gets higher ranking in the Search engine result pages. Therefore, as this way, websites also get to build a good link with the other websites, the SEO Companies are also correctly called as the Link Building Companies.

Moreover, as the entire process works on the clicks that a page gets, the most common and prevalent mode of payment to the Link Building Companies or the SEO Companies in through the Pay per Clicks mode or PPC. These days, seeing to the high end result that one gets from the PPC, these modes are becoming popular among all the websites, who come to an SEO Company for their Search Engine Marketing tool.

An article about one of my customers and conveyor systems

When it comes to selecting the best conveyor system within your business, you will have to realize there are various kinds. The more popular ones are roller conveyor systems and chain conveyors. No matter which system you ultimately decide on is crucial that you go for the best one that benefits you. Needless to say, most businesses have got to take on financial restrictions so that might also play a major factor in final choice but must not be the sole thing in your consideration.

A decent, good quality, roller conveyor or conveyor rollers (determined by which area of the country you reside in) shall do a very nice job in working with your businesses shipping and delivery, packing or warehouse preferences. The typical roller conveyor system is generally quickly recognizable to the majority of individuals who have ever seen the interior of any warehouse. Conveyor rollers are created to take care of most entry level needs for ones standard warehouse, nonetheless, it isn't usually created to push around enormous, hefty items. A roller conveyor system is good for cardboard boxes, totes or other light-weight items approximately around 44lbs but anything more than that will prove overweight for the system to move around safely and effectively.

Chain conveyors are similar to roller conveyors aside from that they're driven with a chain system therefore they'll tackle much bulkier loads. The automotive industry particularly favors using chain conveyors as they can efficiently move about large, heavy items for instance cars and engines. From the expenses perspective however, the chain conveyor systems will be a whole lot more pricey and often involve maintenance to keep in good shape. Chain conveyors are a good solution for manufacturers of enormous operational scope.

Kuecker Logistics Group offers a wide variety of conveyor systems such as:

* Sliding Shoe Sortation

* 24 Volt
* Truck Loaders
* Tilt Tray Sortation

more keyword info

I have over the last two days spent hours researching keywords and phrases for one of my customers. I have learned a lot. I now know that patience and research are very important when choosing the right keywords. I also would like to say that looking at your competitors and what they use is also a neat little trick. You know, just because they are using them does not mean you can not use them too:) Intelligence gathering is not only used in war :)

More coming

Did you know?

Most people use a two to four word phrase in a search, so phrases are very effective. Single words cannot be promoted effectively because they are not very targeted. Internet users who use four-word searches are more likely to purchase goods or services than those using fewer words (source: Oneupweb Research).

Google Places

A neat place to have your business listed. It takes a bit of time but well worth it.

Ways to bring traffic

A few tips from Site Pro news:

4. Social Media Sites

From Facebook to Twitter to LinkedIn, social media sites can provide a lot of traffic and word of mouth advertising for your site. For me, even though I haven’t worked these sites to their fullest potential, I still get traffic from them. Getting your pages bookmarked in some of these sites can bring in a flood of traffic overnight, while most of this traffic will be temporary, you can get a lot of sign-ups to your newsletter and different follow-up lists. While not exactly in the same group, I have had some success with YouTube videos which also bring in targeted traffic. Don’t ignore these social media and video sites in your traffic strategies.

5. Email Marketing and Follow-up Lists

This is another one of my major sources of “repeat visitors” to my sites. You must be constantly building up your different contact lists for further follow-up. This will bring in more visitors than you would expect, especially if you put some simple viral messages in your emails. If you supply valuable information, people will recommend your content to friends and co-workers; again word of mouth can bring in a lot of traffic especially in this age of Facebook and Twitter.
